DENIAL goes to CAYMAN ISLANDS..by JonJon Bolino

When i first heard we were going to the Cayman Islands I didnt really know what to think at first. I had never even been on a plane until this trip so everything was a new experience for me. after the first half hour of our being on the island and meeting the coolest dude on the island “PEEKS” i was begining to realize how much fun this trip was really going to be. we got to the skatepark later on that day and i was amazed at how much bigger and better it looks in person than online. i quickly strapped up and started going at lines for what felt like days but all that didnt matter because i felt like killgore in a candy store everything looked so fun and different.

the next day we pretty much did the tourist thing and took pics at every side spot on the north side shore. then we went and played with turtles at the turtle farm. there were all kinds of sea animals and shit so that was pretty cool to swim in a tank next to sharks. Afterwards we went skating and swimming again then off to the shaggy concert where RO$$ Killa and I got all sorts of boombastic. I would tell you the rest of the night but i’m afraid i dont remember.

Day three after the shaggy concert i was a little hung over so i wasnt really alive half the day. but i woke up right when i fell off the boat at stingray city where the biggest coolest sea animals swim around and just chill with you. after the boat ride to stingray city we had a park session and showed the local kids what we do and whats out there with rollerblading, the kids loved the free product and everything we had to show and offer them. (Thanks to Denial Clothing, Genre Wheels, and Dub Caesar). After the park we went to my favorite place on the island … the bar where the age limit was 18 but fuck it sixteen is close enough and we had some food and drinks and stumbled back to the room.

day four was also a very fun and exciting day we started off by going to the other side of the island called Rum Point, afterwards we went to Drift Wood where we ate food, smoked blunts, and watched ross snorkle out in the most seaweed covered coral on this side of the island. after watching ross almost get swollowed by the current and ass raped by sea creatures we went out swimming in a snorkler’s paradise. all the fish and beautiful reef was such a cool experience, and to think it’s all because of doing what i love on my skates everyday. Speaking of skating we street skated some of the sickest spots the island had to offer, you’ll see the clips and pics soon.

day five, monday started out by dragging my tired ass out of bed to a radio station for a short interview at 8am. we talked about what we were representing and why we were there. before i knew it we were in the parking lot on our way back to the hotel to snorkle and relax from all the fun filled action the past 4 days. after swimming we went to Hell and mailed out some postcards to family and friends then went to fill up on food where we had the hottest waitress ever, Jessica. after eating we decided that snorkling here was so fun we had to go again before the trip was over then it was off to the skatepark where everyone killed shit and got mad clips. then it was off to the last party of the vacation where we pulled an all nighter on the beach built a bonfire and got crazy, so crazy that ross got naked under a poncho and blacked out pretty much on and off untill we were back in Philidelphia. WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP! THANKS PEEKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU SHOWED ME THE TIME OF MY LIFE!!! THE END bitches!!!!!
