Contact killgore@genrewheels.com to pick up some copies for your shop. Release date 2/27/09.

I don’t think the rollerblading community fully appreciated Mike Elias. That devil skated with more power than anyone I had ever seen. He hated filming yet managed to put together a few sections only to refuse to be payed for rollerblading. He always stood up for himself and his friends and was never prohibited by intimidation. He kicked bikers out of ledge spots, unchained his favorite rail, refused would-be muggers, broke parking barriers and laced the illest true spins anyone has ever seen. No matter what activity he picked up he was a natural and I’m sure, this spring, he’s going to be a great father.
Mike Elias was one of the original riders for Denial Clothing and for our 10th Birthday we’re going to celebrate the riders that made Denial strong. First up will be the rerelease of the Mike Elias tee with proceeds going to Denials first father to be! It takes a large amount of Denial to survive 10 years in the rollerblading community and we aim to keep bringing it. Congratulations Mike, from all of us here in Philadelphia!!!! -A. Sereni

We met these cool people at are hotel in the caymans. They needed a t shirt to get into the night club so ross sold them the shirt off his back. They found our website and shot us an email just thought i would share!
Hey guys, just thought I would drop you a line to thank you for letting us buy the shirt off your back!
From your photos on Myspace it looks like you are having a blast on the island.
Your shirt will be returning to Canada with us…and the word will be spread about Denial Clothing!

“Skate the Hate is back for the 3rd year, and will take place on July 12th in eastern, Massachusetts. This street comp features 3 divisions. The day will start out with a 16 and under division. Followed by the old man 25 and older division and finally the open division which anyone can skate. Expect more movable skate features this year.”

The First KY Battle was Louisville vs. Lexington in rollerblading and partying to the fullest, and now 8 years later has evolved to a full on party with an awesome contest surrounding it, haha. The KY Battle was started by Josh Ganz and Doug Williams, me, and is now continuing to be carried out by myself. This year is even greater because the now 2 part competition is bumping up a notch The Lexington portion will have all new spots along with Lexington’s favorite ones, along with a classic no one has really skated in 7 years, and also later that night I have a mindblowing party planned. The Louisville portion which is the Roll Series Southeast Regionals will be out of this world. Expect more info for that soon.

The third annual “Laced in RI” Roll Series sectional competition will
be held Saturday, June 28, 2008. Spot 1 is at the ‘Blue Ledges’ located
at 50 Whitman St., Pawtucket, RI 02860. These are easily the best
ledges in New England.
http://daggy.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/john-wu-backslide-pawtucket-ledges.jpg
Spot 2 is a drop stair rail and spot 3 is a double kink. Blading in
Rhode Island is always fun and the locals love hammers so come out and
have a good time. Check out www.myspace.com/lacedinri for more info.
Cincinnati Street Battle started 3 years ago when i decided to throw an event in cincinnati because before that i dont believe there had ever been one here before. The first year was a big success with lots of underground heads that are even now up n comers, aka steven tat, uhaus, mat grimes, john sander. but anyways, the event got bigger each year and last year i wasnt able to throw one because i was living in florida. So last year mat grimes held the Nasti Nati Smokedown, unfortunately i wasnt able to attend that either but from what i saw and heard it was a blast and tons of people came out. This year in 2008 im hoping to have mass people come out, ive talked to everybody within 4 states from here. Were gonna throw a lil bbq. have prize money for the winner, prizes for the 2nd n third places. i have lots of spots picked out so nobody can say it was a rail or ledge comp. (youll be suprised if you come out) and a biggggg after party is gnna be thrown by us. All in all the event is gnna be off the fucking chain and if your not here you needa be. If you rollerblade i strongly advise you to come out and kick it here in the nati or even throw down. thanks
Denial Clothing and Genre Wheels have sponsored the High Jump contest for the summer of 2008. Needless to say the campers were excited to compete for the exclusive purple Genre wheels, Denial Clothing and the New DVD “Know Rollerblading”. “The Hamilton Skate Weekend is an annual event that is held in Hamilton, Ontario every year and has become an event where upcoming talent and established rollers can gather together and have a great time skating. The event is not judged in a contest format where people are evaluated against one another, instead people are judged against their own abilities. We feel this eliminates any of the intimidation or pressure and creates unity among the riders and strengthens the Canadian rolling scene. Last year the event was ran strictly by CanadianRoll without any sponsors. However, this year CanadianRoll is glad to announce the event has gotten sponsorship from amazing companies that are helping the event grow and also helping strengthens Canadian skating. The event will be held on the second weekend of June (June 13th-16th) and promises to be a lot of fun, so if you find yourself around the area be sure to drop by.”
Here are the dates we have scheduled for Mr. Smalls Skatepark ail qualiers:
June 21, july 5, 19, aug 2
We will be having our “Xtravaganza” on August 8 & 9
Amatuer prelims on the 8th
Pro/am event on the 9th

Genre and Denials mark wojda has placed 1st in the last 3 roll series contests.
1st plate ksps @ the dc skate plaza
1st place in the bible belt battle
1st place in the blue grass beatdown.
It is the first year of the KSPS. The contest is going to be part of the Roll Series and count toward the standings. The place it is going to be held at is a one-of-a-kind skatepark that only contains street elements. There are three rounds of the contest and each round is concentrated on a specific area of the park. The contest has several companies sponsoring it, including some of the biggest in the rollerblading industry.Along with the skating contest there will be give-aways, raffles, and prizes. Prizes including a trophy and COLD HARD CASH!!!!!!!!!!! This year the contest will be followed by the premiere of the much anticipated and long-awaited for video, Savor the Flavor.
milehigh.jpgThe mile high battle (MHB) has been up and killing it for the past 8 years. This is the second year for the pre- qualifier for northern colorado.
Last year the MHB joined up with the roll series as the national street contest. As a result Adam Bender the man in charge of the whole operation
decided to limit the MHB to the best in the west. He separated the state into half’s and took the top 8 from both to compete in the MHB.

I guess most people have already seen or heard of Denial’s first DVD called Underestimated. When it came out Denial was in everybody’s mouth because of his unbeatable team. Due to this epic release the standards for another Denial DVD are incredibly high. I was really excited when I heard that there would be another Denial DVD coming out. Seeing what the new Denial team and the new Denial owner are capable of is something that made me want to watch Know Rollerblading!
