We met these cool people at are hotel in the caymans. They needed a t shirt to get into the night club so ross sold them the shirt off his back. They found our website and shot us an email just thought i would share!

The First KY Battle was Louisville vs. Lexington in rollerblading and partying to the fullest, and now 8 years later has evolved to a full on party with an awesome contest surrounding it, haha. The KY Battle was started by Josh Ganz and Doug Williams, me, and is now continuing to be carried out by myself. This year is even greater because the now 2 part competition is bumping up a notch The Lexington portion will have all new spots along with Lexington’s favorite ones, along with a classic no one has really skated in 7 years, and also later that night I have a mindblowing party planned. The Louisville portion which is the Roll Series Southeast Regionals will be out of this world. Expect more info for that soon.

Cincinnati Street Battle started 3 years ago when i decided to throw an event in cincinnati because before that i dont believe there had ever been one here before. The first year was a big success with lots of underground heads that are even now up n comers, aka steven tat, uhaus, mat grimes, john sander. but anyways, the event got bigger each year and last year i wasnt able to throw one because i was living in florida. So last year mat grimes held the Nasti Nati Smokedown, unfortunately i wasnt able to attend that either but from what i saw and heard it was a blast and tons of people came out. This year in 2008 im hoping to have mass people come out, ive talked to everybody within 4 states from here. Were gonna throw a lil bbq. have prize money for the winner, prizes for the 2nd n third places. i have lots of spots picked out so nobody can say it was a rail or ledge comp. (youll be suprised if you come out) and a biggggg after party is gnna be thrown by us. All in all the event is gnna be off the fucking chain and if your not here you needa be. If you rollerblade i strongly advise you to come out and kick it here in the nati or even throw down. thanks
Denial Clothing and Genre Wheels have sponsored the High Jump contest for the summer of 2008. Needless to say the campers were excited to compete for the exclusive purple Genre wheels, Denial Clothing and the New DVD “Know Rollerblading”. When the contest was all said and done, Sam Moore was left standing after clearing 9 feet with ease!

1st place in the blue grass beatdown.
It is the first year of the KSPS. The contest is going to be part of the Roll Series and count toward the standings. The place it is going to be held at is a one-of-a-kind skatepark that only contains street elements. There are three rounds of the contest and each round is concentrated on a specific area of the park. The contest has several companies sponsoring it, including some of the biggest in the rollerblading industry.Along with the skating contest there will be give-aways, raffles, and prizes. Prizes including a trophy and COLD HARD CASH!!!!!!!!!!! This year the contest will be followed by the premiere of the much anticipated and long-awaited for video, Savor the Flavor.
milehigh.jpgThe mile high battle (MHB) has been up and killing it for the past 8 years. This is the second year for the pre- qualifier for northern colorado.
Last year the MHB joined up with the roll series as the national street contest. As a result Adam Bender the man in charge of the whole operation
decided to limit the MHB to the best in the west. He separated the state into half’s and took the top 8 from both to compete in the MHB.

I guess most people have already seen or heard of Denial’s first DVD called Underestimated. When it came out Denial was in everybody’s mouth because of his unbeatable team. Due to this epic release the standards for another Denial DVD are incredibly high. I was really excited when I heard that there would be another Denial DVD coming out. Seeing what the new Denial team and the new Denial owner are capable of is something that made me want to watch Know Rollerblading!

“The Flight”
I awoke at 5:30 on friday morning , the alarm clock did”nt go off so my internal
clock came through as always.I should have known this trip was getting off on a
bad start…but, I managed to get everything i needed for my trip in my bag,
drank some o.g, and was ready for the shuttle. After the shuttle picked me up
i climbed my way to the back of the shuttle to listen to my ipod, I noticed the
driver wasn’t talking very much, I’m sure it was because the time…6:45 in the

This summer has been a crazy one as usual ive recently gotten on denial within the last year about and ive been doing my best to have as many clips as possible in the newest installment that should be dropping soon. Ive been traveling to film as well as traveling to go to as many comps and still handling college and a job and all that.
Ive been to Conneticut,Nj,NYC(everywhere),Philly, and now im about to head out to Arizona for a week or so to chill and im gunna be hittin a few spots for sure and gettin some clips from there so i can always remember the trip and to get a little more variety of spots in my sections. We woke up kinda early today, 10am, and decided to go up to North Jersey to skate with the Stokley Brothers, Sean Money, JayCottrel, JayG and some of the other homies. We ended up getting a late start kinda because we were supposed to pick Meatwad up and he wasnt ready or outfront, so we left…. then we had to pick up Chris Shaw in Maple Shade, then we had to stop at walmart to get tapes and JonJon had to go shopping before his week at Woodward. so we left around 1pm or so…arrived at Bishophouse aka One Kink Chink at Rutgers to find out…ITS CAPPED what the fuck. so we went to this lil weird gap to flat rail gap off. it was kinda short, about 8ft long with a 3 stair at the bottom…..u had to gap off 2 stairs to it and gap over 2 off it. Ross did aosoul rewind5..kinda amazing Clip in the video.. buy it!.. JonJon did some sweet fishy to backbackslides…and nutted hard when we went to take the picture. OUCH. The beginning of this summer was a tough one because i severely bruised my hip bone and the tendons that surrounded it. I didn’t have enough time to heal entirely, but i toughed it out and went to italy for 5 weeks on an internship for painting, drawing, and design. I got a lot of work done outside of skating but i made sure stretch and ice my hip constantly so that when i got back to the states i was ready to rip. After 5 weeks of work I flew over the atlantic and i was finally back to pittsburgh, for a day. I then went on a family vacation to a beach in Delaware with my good friend Hawke Trackler. After a long recovery period i was finally healed and landed a roof grind into a bank as my first trick to start off my comeback in skating. Read the rest of this entry »
A good friend of mine and Denial’s has recently broken his ankle, and this is right after he broke his elbow on one of the craziest tricks attempted in Philadelphia recently.. you’ll see the fall soon enough on film. But this photo is showing off his new broken ankle as well as the KNOW ROLLERBLADING TATTOO that he had gotten as well.

When i was at the SUPERHICK this year it was an amazing time, i got to chill with most of my Team, and also reminice with oldheads about past tour’s ive been on with them and plans everyone has for the future. When i first heard we were going to the Cayman Islands I didnt really know what to think at first. I had never even been on a plane until this trip so everything was a new experience for me. after the first half hour of our being on the island and meeting the coolest dude on the island “PEEKS” i was begining to realize how much fun this trip was really going to be. we got to the skatepark later on that day and i was amazed at how much bigger and better it looks in person than online. i quickly strapped up and started going at lines for what felt like days but all that didnt matter because i felt like killgore in a candy store everything looked so fun and different.
